As per the Website module in Duct Tape Marketing, I’ve been slowly adding our blog to blog directories. The one I did today was www.loadedweb.com. According to the “About Us” this is a directory moderated by a real, live human being that categorizes blogs by geographic location.
So if I wanted to look up “blogs in Calgary” I could do that. Of course, we also get listed when others are looking up regional blogs. And … of course, like most directories, it contributes to our back-links from major sites contributing to our search engine marketing strategy.
The proof is yet in the pudding, will keep you posted.
